Roast Chicken with Salad, first the eyes love it and that tickles the taste buds to enjoy eating it…
I prepared the three coloured salad with tomato , pink onion and coriander (The touch of this green always makes any dish look wonderful, smells good when cooked and no doubt its good for health).
I will call it another fast-track healthy dish when you are short of time.
Recipe
I had the a piece of already roasted chicken, which was in the refrigerator. I tossed it in a non-stick pan, covered and heated it on both sides. Heating it in the oven is anytime better but, since I had something in my mind with the salad which will be next in the pan, so I preferred the pan (and just avoided bringing out too many utensils for washing :).
After the chicken is heated, I added some red chilli powder and brushed it with honey, then continued heating it. That’s it! The Roast Chicken is done.
Next with the salad, I roughly chopped the tomatoes , onion and the coriander, sprinkled some salt to it and threw them in the same pan. Some honey was added to it and I needed some more chilli powder to it.No cooking it. Only toss it for some less than half a minute (since the pan is already hot). Well ! My three-coloured salad is also done.
I Plated it, squeezed some fresh lemon on it and had it 🙂
