FishNChips: Chips on a Different Note

 

There are always spells of laziness for cooking . Why not! Especially when I’am on a break from my work life.

What would one do? Yes, I do the same. Atleast stock the fridge with some food that is ready to make.
So I had the breaded cod fillet which I just had to heat and eat 🙂
And me, being a health conscious person(sometimes;-), there has to be something green -in this its the ‘Curly Leaf Lettuce’.
And the only thing I cooked was the Chips.

Yes it was cooked because I didn’t like the idea of deep frying it.

Recipe:
 
Ingredients Used?
Potato
Salt
Red Chilli Flakes
Oil
 
How I Prepared it?
One potato was cut and kept in cold water. Then drain the water and add some oil, salt and red chilli flakes to it- sort of half a minute of marination before throwing them in the pan.
Heat just 1 tbsp or 2 of oil in a non-stick pan and add the potatoes.On a high flame let them get lightly browned from all sides. After they have got the beautiful brown colour, cover and cook them on low flame. That’s it.
 
I plated the dish and enjoyed it with the creamy horseradish sauce.
